Cable tray with grid mesh (also known as grid mesh cable tray, Cablofil cable tray)
1. Product Overview
Grid cable tray is a open metal mesh cable tray, formed by welding high-quality steel wires, and can be galvanized, hot-dip galvanized, made of 304/316 stainless steel. It is mainly used for laying low-voltage cables such as network cables, optical fibers, monitoring systems, automatic control systems, etc., and can also be used for small-cross-section power cables. It is the mainstream wiring product in data centers and computer rooms.
2. Core Features
✅Open and Hollow Design: Cables are fully visible, making it very convenient to check, add or replace cables in the later stage; excellent heat dissipation performance, preventing cables from accumulating heat. ✅Light Self-Weight: The weight is greatly reduced compared to trough-type cable trays, reducing the load on ceilings and supports. ✅Flexible Installation: Easy to cut, can be cut on site with a cutting machine as needed; elbows and tees can be bent on site without prefabricated accessories. ✅Optional Rust Prevention: Electro-galvanized (for indoor dry computer rooms), hot-dip galvanized, 304 stainless steel (for humid/corrosive environments). ✅Good Permeability: No closed cavity, not easy to accumulate dust, and convenient for fire smoke to penetrate.
3. Applicable Scenarios
- Data centers, server rooms, equipment rooms for weak current systems (the most mainstream scenario)
- Office buildings, factory automatic control systems, monitoring network wiring
- Clean workshops, dust-free plants
- Basements, equipment rooms for comprehensive wiring
Not suitable for highly corrosive, open high-salt spray environments (stainless steel is recommended); high-power high-current cables are preferred for trough/ladder type cable trays.
4. Common Specifications
Width × Height (mm): 50×50, 100×50, 200×50, 300×50, 400×50, 600×50; Steel wire diameter: 4mm, 5mm; Conventional length: 3 meters per piece.
5. Supporting Accessories
Hanging screw rods, hanging clamps, straight connecting pieces, side-mounted brackets, L-shaped brackets, ground wire clamps, etc.
6. Comparison with Trough-type Cable Trays
- Grid cable tray: Open structure, good heat dissipation, convenient cable checking, light self-weight, mainly for weak current systems; no cover plate.
- Trough-type cable tray: Closed trough body, good performance, dust-proof, suitable for both strong and weak current, requires a cover plate.
