GW9-40.5/200a/400/600/630/800/1000/1250/1600/2000/2500/3150A outdoor 35KV pole-mounted high-voltage isolating switch, suitable for cutting and closing single-phase or three-phase circuits with voltage but no load, for single-phase use in three-phase line systems. This equipment has simple structure, is economical and easy to use, and is composed of base, post insulator, conductive part and operating mechanism part. It adopts a knife-switch structure, and is operated for opening and closing by an insulating hook rod. The knife switch is equipped with a self-locking device and an adjustable compression spring contact pressure system.
I. Product Overview and Functions
This switch is designed to cut and close single-phase or three-phase circuits with voltage but no load in AC 50Hz power systems. Its typical application scenarios include power systems of power plants, substations and large industrial enterprises. It can be used not only for main circuits, but also as an isolation protection device during maintenance to ensure that the circuit will not be accidentally charged. The product has simple structure, is economical and easy to use.
II. Structure and Design Features
The GW9-40.5 isolating switch is mainly composed of base, post insulator, conductive part and operating mechanism part, and adopts a knife-switch structure.
Conductive part: Each phase knife switch is composed of two conductive blades. Compression springs are installed on both sides of the blades, and the required contact pressure can be obtained by adjusting the spring height. The conductor material is usually copper or aluminum. Some models use channel steel-shaped conductive arms to increase the heat dissipation surface area, and use self-supporting contact fingers with high elasticity, high strength and high conductivity, which do not require springs and avoid the problem of spring annealing caused by heating.
Operating mechanism: It is usually operated with an insulating hook rod, and the knife switch is equipped with a self-locking device. The operating mechanism can be manual or electric. All rotating parts often use oil-free self-lubricating engineering plastic bearings.
Insulator: The post insulator can be made of silicone rubber or porcelain. Silicone rubber insulators have the characteristics of large creepage distance, good insulation performance and high mechanical strength.
Protection design: All ferrous metal parts usually adopt hot-dip galvanized surface treatment to prevent rust. Its design can ensure that no sparks and arcs are generated during operation, ensuring operational safety.
