Hydrophobic nano-silica has high hydrophobicity and lipophilicity, and exhibits good dispersibility and compatibility in oily and hydrophobic systems. It has excellent properties such as reinforcement, thickening and thixotropy, anti-settling, matting, flow aid and anti-caking.

Application Fields
Powder coatings, plastic powders: As a powder flow aid, it improves and maintains the fluidity of materials and prevents caking of materials.
Coatings, paints, inks: Used as an anti-settling agent and rheological additive, it functions as thickening, anti-settling, and thixotropy, and improves the weather resistance, scratch resistance, surface smoothness, and adhesion of coatings.
Adhesives, sealants: It has the functions of thickening, controlling thixotropy, increasing bonding strength, and improving sealing performance.
Dry powder fire extinguishing agents: As a main hydrophobic component, it reduces moisture absorption and anti-caking of the powder, maintains high free fluidity, and enhances its storage and jet performance.
Plastic products: It improves strength, toughness, and aging resistance, and increases elongation and Izod impact strength.
Resins, silicone elastomers: It can improve strength, surface smoothness, wear resistance, and aging resistance, and effectively control rheology.
Defoamers: It has excellent dispersibility, adsorption, and stability, enhances defoaming and foam suppression performance, and improves defoaming efficiency.
