Sewage treatment generally includes the following processes:
Primary treatment: Treat sewage through grids, sedimentation and other methods to remove stones, sand and other impurities in the sewage.
Secondary treatment: Degrade and convert pollutants in sewage into sludge through microorganisms.
Tertiary treatment: Perform advanced disinfection on sewage through technologies such as chlorination and ultraviolet radiation to remove nutrients in the sewage.
Necessity of automated control systems for sewage treatment plants:
Sewage treatment plants have a large number of sewage treatment equipment, strong continuity, complex processes, and are relatively difficult to manage. Therefore, East China Industrial Control has developed an automated control system for sewage treatment plants, which scientifically and automatically treats sewage through the system to achieve accurate regulation, energy saving and consumption reduction.
Technical description of the automated control system for sewage treatment plants in each sewage process section:
• Primary treatment process section:
Collect signals from level gauges and flow meters and control pumps, electric valves and frequency converters through PLC.
• Secondary treatment process section:
Set up PLC control stations to collect signals from pressure gauges and flow meters and control pumps, electric valves and fans.
• Sludge concentration process section:
Set up multiple PLC control stations to control level gauges, solenoid valves and drain pumps that use automated products.
• Reclaimed water process section:
Control the motor of the frequency converter through PLC to send water into the urban pipe network.
• Control room:
Connect all on-site equipment through Ethernet to perform centralized signal collection and centralized control.
