Detailed Description
1. Overview of FPZ Plastic Self-priming Pump
The FPZ engineering plastic self-priming pump's body is injection-molded in one piece with reinforced polypropylene (CFR-PP), featuring high mechanical strength and strong corrosion resistance. The pump cavity is equipped with a suction chamber, liquid storage chamber, backflow check valve, gas-liquid separation chamber, and backflow hole. Only priming liquid is required for the first startup, and no repeated priming is needed afterwards. When conveying media, the liquid can be intermittent. If the liquid is interrupted within 15 minutes, the suction and delivery can resume. The inner cavity of the pump is smooth, and the impeller is a closed type, with two sealing methods: mechanical seal and rubber seal. The mechanical seal does not require additional cooling water. It has the advantages of small size, light weight, simple structure, easy operation, safety and no leakage. It is mainly used to transport corrosive liquids such as acids, alkalis, and salts with a temperature range of -14℃ to 80℃, but it cannot be used to transport certain chemicals that have a significant effect on ABS engineering plastics, such as aromatic hydrocarbons, halogenated derivatives of aliphatic hydrocarbons, ketones, concentrated acids and alkalis, etc.

3. Operating Requirements for FPZ Plastic Self-priming Pump
1. Before installation and use (due to long-distance transportation), carefully check whether all fasteners are loose. If they are loose, retighten them. Check the concentricity between the pump shaft and the motor shaft, and correct it if there is deviation.
2. The installed pipeline cannot be directly supported on the inlet and outlet flanges of the pump, and additional supporting points must be provided to prevent deformation and damage. The pipeline should be designed with as few bends as possible to reduce hydraulic losses. No more than two 90° elbows are allowed. The suction pipe must not leak air, otherwise it will affect the vacuuming and liquid discharging time, or result in no liquid discharge and insufficient flow and head.
3. Before starting the pump, open the liquid filling cap, fill the pump body with priming liquid, tighten the liquid filling cap to avoid air leakage, and it is strictly forbidden to run the pump without liquid or reverse rotation.
4. For pumps with a bracket bearing box, add cooling lubricating oil to half of the sight glass before use, otherwise the bearing will be burnt out, and the oil should be replaced regularly.
5. The conveyed liquid must not contain sediment or long soft fibers, so as to prevent clogging and damage to the impeller and mechanical seal.
6. Install a valve at the outlet of the pump. Close the valve first before shutting down, and open the valve first before starting the pump.
