The ZX horizontal clear water self-priming centrifugal pump is a type of self-priming pump connected to the pump body by a motor through a coupling. Its main feature is the self-priming function, eliminating the need for a foot valve in the pipeline. Before operation, only a fixed amount of priming liquid needs to be stored in the pump body to realize the "one-time priming, lifelong self-priming" function. It has the advantages of compact structure, convenient operation, stable operation, easy maintenance, high efficiency and long service life. The pump body and flow-passing components can be made of cast iron and various grades of stainless steel, and the motor can be equipped with a frequency conversion motor and an explosion-proof motor. It is widely used in industrial sectors such as petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, machinery, chemical fiber, food, energy and transportation, for urban water supply, and can also be used for agricultural drainage and irrigation and sprinkler irrigation. II. Structural Principle of ZX Self-Priming Centrifugal Pumps

The pump body of the ZX horizontal clear water self-priming centrifugal pump consists of a suction chamber, a liquid storage chamber, a volute chamber, a liquid return hole, a gas-liquid separation chamber, etc., adopting an axial liquid return structure. After the pump starts normally, the impeller sucks the liquid stored in the suction chamber and the air in the suction pipeline together, and fully mixes them in the impeller. Under the action of centrifugal force, the liquid carrying gas flows toward the outer edge of the volute chamber, forming a white foam belt with a certain thickness and a high-speed rotating liquid ring on the outer edge of the impeller. The gas-liquid mixture enters the gas-liquid separation chamber through the diffusion pipe. At this time, due to the sudden decrease in flow rate, the lighter gas is separated from the mixed gas-liquid, and the gas continues to rise and discharge through the pump outlet. The degassed liquid returns to the liquid storage chamber and enters the impeller again through the return hole, mixing again with the gas sucked from the suction pipeline inside the impeller. Under the action of the high-speed rotating impeller, it flows toward the outer edge of the impeller again. As this process repeats, the air in the suction pipeline continues to decrease until the gas is exhausted, completing the self-priming process, and the pump is put into normal operation.

Some pump bearing bodies are not equipped with cooling chambers at the bottom. When the temperature rise of the bearing body exceeds 70℃ due to bearing heating, coolant can be injected through any coolant pipe joint at the cooling chamber for circulating cooling. The sealing mechanism inside the pump that prevents liquid leakage from high-pressure areas to low-pressure areas is the front and rear sealing rings. The front sealing ring is installed on the pump body, and the rear sealing ring is installed on the bearing body. When the sealing rings are worn after long-term operation of the pump, affecting the pump efficiency and self-priming performance, they should be replaced.
