ZX horizontal clear water self-priming centrifugal pump is a self-priming pump model connected by a motor through a coupling and a pump body. Its main feature is the self-priming function; there is no need to install a bottom valve in the pipeline. II. Structure and Principle of ZX Self-priming Centrifugal Pump

The pump body of ZX horizontal clear water self-priming centrifugal pump consists of a suction chamber, a liquid storage chamber, a volute chamber, a return hole, a gas-liquid separation chamber, etc., and adopts an axial return structure. After the pump starts normally, the impeller sucks the liquid stored in the suction chamber and the air in the suction pipeline together, and they are fully mixed in the impeller. Under the action of centrifugal force, the liquid carrying gas flows to the outer edge of the volute chamber, forming a white foam belt with a certain thickness and a high-speed rotating liquid ring on the outer edge of the impeller. The gas-liquid mixture enters the gas-liquid separation chamber through the diffusion pipe. At this time, due to the sudden decrease in flow rate, the lighter gas is separated from the mixed liquid, and the gas continues to rise and be discharged through the pump body outlet. The degassed liquid returns to the liquid storage chamber, and enters the impeller again through the return hole, mixing again with the gas sucked from the suction pipeline inside the impeller. Under the action of the high-speed rotating impeller, it flows to the outer edge of the impeller again. As this process repeats, the air in the suction pipeline decreases continuously until the air is exhausted, completing the self-priming process, and the pump is put into normal operation.

Some pump bearing bodies also have cooling chambers at the bottom. When the temperature of the bearing body rises above 70℃ due to bearing heat, coolant can be injected into the cooling chamber through any coolant pipe joint for circulation cooling. The sealing mechanism inside the pump to prevent liquid leakage from high-pressure area to low-pressure area is the front and rear sealing rings. The front sealing ring is installed on the pump body, and the rear sealing ring is installed on the bearing body. When the sealing rings are worn after long-term operation of the pump, affecting the pump's efficiency and self-priming performance, they should be replaced.
