CYZ Self-priming Oil Pump Precautions:

I. Preparation and inspection before starting:

1. For this series of oil pumps, calcium-based grease and No. 10 engine oil are used for lubrication respectively according to the working operation conditions of the pump. If the pump is lubricated with grease, grease should be regularly added to the bearing housing. For the pump lubricated with engine oil, add enough oil if the oil level is insufficient.

2. Check whether the liquid stored in the pump casing is higher than the upper edge of the impeller. If it is insufficient, you can directly inject liquid into the pump body through the liquid filling port on the pump casing. Do not start and operate when the liquid storage is insufficient, otherwise the pump will not work normally and the mechanical seal is easily damaged.

3. Check whether there is any jamming or bumping of the rotating parts of the pump.

4. Check whether the nuts on the pump base and all connections are loose.

5. Check the coaxiality or parallelism between the pump shaft and the motor main shaft.

6. Check whether the inlet pipeline is leaking. If there is air leakage, it must be eliminated.

7. Open the valve of the suction pipeline, and open the outlet control valve slightly (do not fully open it).

II. Pump shutdown

1. First, you must close the gate valve on the discharge pipeline.

When used on oil tankers or water transport ships, it can also be used as a tank sweeping pump with good tank sweeping effect.

2. This pump is refined from selected materials. The seal adopts hard alloy mechanical seal. There is no need to install a safety valve on the discharge pipeline, and no foot valve is required on the suction pipeline, which simplifies the pipeline system and improves working conditions.
