QCd1 Characteristics and Application Scope: QCd1 has high electrical and thermal conductivity, good wear resistance and anti-friction properties, excellent corrosion resistance, and good pressure processing performance. The aging hardening effect of QCd1 cadmium bronze is not significant; cold working hardening is generally used to improve strength.

QCd1 Chemical Composition:

Copper Cu: Balance

Cadmium Cd: 0.8-1.3

QCd1 Mechanical Properties:

Tensile Strength σb (MPa): ≥370

Elongation δ10 (%): ≥4

Hardness: ≥100 HB

QCd1 Heat Treatment Specification: Hot working temperature 780-800°C. A special bronze with cadmium as the main alloying element.

Sometimes 0.35%-0.65% chromium is added. It has high strength, high hardness, good wear resistance, and heat resistance. Good electrical and thermal conductivity. Easy to process under pressure; cadmium volatiles are toxic. Prepared by melting method. Precautions must be taken during smelting.
