Inspection Items and Rules

1. Packaging Inspection

Check whether the products are packed in boxes according to the specified quantity, ensuring no mixed versions, underpacking, or mixed items. Place lining paper and padding properly during packaging to ensure the products are flat and protected.

Check whether the product has a certificate of conformity, including production date, product name, specifications, quantity, manufacturer, production date, and shelf life.

Check whether the product color or style is correct and the material is accurate. Fonts and patterns should be clear, correct, without misprints, omissions, or ink stains.

Check whether the product surface is deformed, damaged, scratched, stained, cracked, chipped, broken, dented, rusted, or has burrs. The product should have no non-functional sharp points or edges.

3. Structural and Dimensional Inspection

Check whether the product structure is sturdy, well-assembled, with no loose components. For example, rivets in folders, joints in staplers, hinges in pencil cases, etc.

Check whether the product dimensions and models meet the procurement and usage requirements, and ensure they do not exceed general tolerance ranges.

4. Practical Usage Testing

Check whether the product's functionality meets requirements, with no issues affecting actual use. For example, pens skipping while writing, uneven lines, erasers failing to erase pencil marks, staplers malfunctioning, pencil cases not closing, folders not holding documents, etc.

5. Drop Test

Drop the product from a height of 36 inches onto a rubber surface five times, in the following directions: front, back, top, one side, and any other direction; check whether the product is damaged.

6. Rubbing Test

Place an eraser vertically on the surface of the product with screen printing, apply a downward force of 1½ ± ¼ pounds, and rub in the same direction (without back-and-forth motion) for 10 times over an appropriate length (e.g., at least 1 inch). The product surface must show no damage.

7. Pull and Torque Test

This test checks the assembly strength of the product. Perform according to product specifications; if not specified, the pull force requirement is 10 kgf, and the torque requirement is 5 kgf/cm. The product should show no damage after testing.
