Huajian Company's Inspection Standards for Daily-Use Ceramic Plates, Bowls, and Cup Saucers

Plates

1. Visible surface: No more than 2 glaze drips, no more than 2 glaze deficiencies, no more than 2 debris spots, no more than 2 black spots (each black spot must not exceed 1mm). No more than 3 of any single type of defect may be present simultaneously.

2. Non-visible surface: No more than 3 glaze drips, no more than 3 glaze deficiencies, no more than 3 debris spots, no more than 3 black spots (each black spot must not exceed 1mm). No more than 4 of any single type of defect may be present simultaneously.

3. Place the plate flat on a level surface to check for warping. Standard is:

For plates 9” and under: Slide a single 1-yuan coin along the rim. If it passes easily through the gap between the plate and the level surface, the item is defective.

For plates over 9”: Slide two stacked 1-yuan coins along the rim. If they pass easily through the gap between the plate and the level surface, the item is defective.

Note: The above must be performed on a flat surface, and the coin must be a standard 1-yuan coin!

4. On the bottom of the plate, pay attention to the polishing. When placing a hand on it, there should be no obvious rough or scratching sensation. A qualified product should have a smooth surface.

5. The polished bottom should be even without any indentation marks. Presence of such marks renders the item defective.

6. While inspecting the bottom, ensure there is no blackening of the base. Slight blackening is acceptable, but if it exceeds 1/4 of the total area, the item is defective.

7. The bottom mark should be located at the very center of the base. Any significant deviation or large blooming (blooming diameter must not exceed 2.5mm, including 2.5mm) renders the item defective.

8. Packaging must not be loose. It should meet export packaging requirements for ease of transportation and handling.

9. Products should have a relatively clean appearance. Excessively dirty products should be reported to the factory for improvement promptly, otherwise they will be returned.

10. Ensure all plate shapes exactly match customer requirements without any discrepancies.

11. For plates 9” and under, dimensions must not exceed the original specified size by more than 3%; for plates over 9”, dimensions must not exceed by more than 2.5%.

12. For plates 9” and under, dimensions must not exceed the original specified size by more than 3%; for plates over 9”, dimensions must not exceed by more than 2.5%.

Bowls

2. Saucer non-visible surface: No more than 3 glaze drips, no more than 3 glaze deficiencies, no more than 3 debris spots, no more than 3 black spots (each black spot must not exceed 1mm). No more than 4 of any single type of defect may be present simultaneously.

3. For saucers: Slide a single 1-yuan coin along the rim. If it passes easily through the gap between the saucer and the level surface, the item is defective.

4. The saucer well must not be too large or too shallow. If the cup easily slips or wobbles slightly, the saucer is defective.

5. The ceramic color of the cup and saucer must match without any color difference; this is especially critical for colored glaze products.

6. The cup rim must be perfectly round, square, or as required by the customer. If the rim is not round, not square, or deviates from the customer's specified shape, the item is defective.

7. The connection between the handle and the cup body must have no cracks (commonly known as cracked handle). The handle must be properly positioned and not crooked.
