Tempered Glass Inspection

1. Edging:

Fine grinding dimensions: 4-6 mm, tolerance allowed ±0.15 mm; 8-12 mm, tolerance allowed ±0.20 mm;

Fine grinding should be smooth and fluent, and can be inspected according to customer requirements. No edge chipping is allowed.

Length and width dimensions: tolerance allowed ±1.5 mm. Special requirements shall be based on customer drawings.

Diagonal

Length error of the two diagonals of the glass: ±2 mm;

2. Drilling:

Hole diameter tolerance: ±0.5 mm. Special requirements shall be based on customer drawings;

Hole distance: tolerance between holes is ±1.5 mm, tolerance for handle holes is ±1 mm. Special requirements shall be based on customer drawings;

Tolerance from hole to edge is ±1 mm. Special requirements shall be based on customer drawings;

3. Tempering:

Straight edge curvature: tolerance allowed ±0.2 mm. Wave-shaped and arc-shaped flat bent glass shall not exceed this standard. Special shapes allow ±0.25 mm;

Straight edge boat shape: tolerance allowed ±1 mm, handle hole straight line tolerance ±1 mm. Special requirements shall be based on customer drawings;

Diagonal center twist: tolerance allowed ±2 mm. The distance between the upper and lower intersection points of the diagonal and center of the entire bent glass piece shall not exceed this standard;

Arc position: Pure arc, observed from the outer arc surface. Tolerance for movable doors is ±1.5 mm, for fixed doors is ±1 mm. If a wooden mold 2 mm larger than the glass can be inserted and slid, it is considered qualified; Special shapes: tolerance allowed ±2 mm, can be inserted into the groove and slid. The arc position line is based on the outer arc surface. Tolerance for the belly position of movable and fixed doors is ±1.5 mm, observed from the outer arc, including the center and both sides. For movable doors, convex 1 mm and concave 2 mm are acceptable. The same applies to fixed doors.

Arc right angle edge: Allowable deviation ≤40 mm. For glass with R position less than 500 mm, ≤50 mm is allowed; for R position greater than 500 mm, ≤40 mm is allowed.

Chord length and arc length tolerance: ±1.5 mm. Arc length is based on the outer length, chord length is based on the outer chord length.

Surface waves: At a distance of 600 mm, under natural light, the front shows wavy fine lines. Lines with length <10 mm and width <0.8 mm, up to 3 per piece are allowed, should be slight and irregularly distributed. Not more than 10% of the entire batch.

Pitting: At a distance of 600 mm, under natural light, the front shows small bubble-like spots. Pits with diameter ≤1 mm, located within 300 mm from both ends of the glass, fewer than 3 per piece are acceptable. Not more than 10% of the entire batch.

Rope marks: At a distance of 600 mm, under natural light, the front shows no obvious reflective small dents. Marks with length <8 mm and width <2 mm are acceptable.

Tempering rainbow, white frost: At a distance of 600 mm, under natural light, the front shows a rainbow pattern. Slight white fog visible at a 30-90 degree angle to the product surface is acceptable.

Screen printing trademark: Tolerance allowed ±2 mm, pattern specification tolerance ±3 mm. Adhesion must not be scraped off. After tempering, the pattern should not be scraped off with the flat side of a key.

Hidden cracks, hole cracks: Not allowed.

Chipped edges, chipped corners: Chipped edge ≤1 mm, chipped corner ≤2 mm, slight is allowed, subject to qualified polishing.

Scratches: At 600 mm, under natural light, clearly visible, length ≥10 mm, width ≥0.2 mm,明显手感 when scratched with a nail, requires rework and polishing; Slight scratches: length ≤15 mm, width ≤0.15 mm, no obvious手感, acceptable.
