SO2 Standard Gas Applications

Sulfur dioxide standard gas is mainly used for calibration and detection of petrochemical process control instruments, quality control of petrochemical products, environmental pollutant detection, automotive exhaust emission detection, detection of various factory exhaust gases, calibration of mine alarms, medical instrument calibration, quality detection of transformer oil in power systems, quality control of air separation products, calibration of traffic safety detection instruments, geological exploration and earthquake monitoring, metallurgical analysis, gas appliance testing and calorific value analysis, calibration of instruments in the fertilizer industry, etc.

Precautions

Cylinder gas products are high-pressure filled gases and must be decompressed before use. All gas cylinders have a service life indicated; cylinders that have expired must be sent to the relevant department for safety inspection before they can continue to be used. When each cylinder of gas is used to the end, a residual pressure of 0.5 MPa should be retained, with a minimum of not less than 0.25 MPa residual pressure. The cylinder valve should be closed to ensure gas quality and usage safety. Cylinder gas products should be stored and used in classified stacks during transportation and storage. Flammable gases and combustion-supporting gases must not be stacked together, and should not be near open flames or heat sources. Avoid fire, oil, wax, exposure to sunlight, heavy throwing, and impact. It is strictly forbidden to perform arc or electric arc on the gas cylinder, and rough handling is prohibited.
