The high-pressure sending tank conveying system, also known as the仓泵 conveying system, is a type of positive pressure pneumatic conveying system, typically operating in a dense phase mode.

Working Principle:

The dense phase pump utilizes high-quality dome valves or double butterfly valves for discharging. After the dense phase pump is completely filled, the dome valve sphere closes through the material to seal; compressed air enters the dense phase pump through control valves, and the material enters the conveying pipeline at a low speed according to specific system requirements.

During the feeding process, material is added into the sending tank through double butterfly valves or expansion butterfly valves. The displaced air is released through exhaust valves, making feeding easier and also resolving the reverse pressure that hinders material flow.

This conveying method requires very little compressed air, achieving a high material-to-air ratio, ensuring low energy consumption and very minimal system wear.

When the sending tank is full (reaching 90% of the tank volume as indicated by the level gauge), the feed valve and exhaust valve are simultaneously closed and sealed. Then, compressed air is added to the top of the sending tank through the intake valve. The added compressed air mixes with the material, and when the pressure inside the tank reaches the set value, the bottom discharge valve automatically opens. At this point, pressure is applied to the entire conveying pipeline, and the material is conveyed in a plug-like form until it is completely discharged.

When the pressure in the sending tank drops to zero, the pneumatic supply is shut off, and any remaining gas is expelled from the sending tank and the conveying pipeline.

Design Advantages:
Compared to traditional positive pressure conveying systems, the high-pressure sending tank conveying system uses a sending tank instead of a rotary valve or Venturi tube as the material feeding device.

Additionally, the conveying pressure of the sending tank system is relatively high, and the solid-to-gas ratio is also relatively high.

1. The size and appearance of the sending tank can be custom-designed according to the customer's site conditions;

2. An air knife can be added at the discharge port to reduce conveying pressure;

3. A weighing system can be optionally configured;

4. Pressure vessel inspection data can be provided.

This product is widely used for conveying powders and granules, enabling combined negative and positive pressure conveying. It can achieve long-distance conveying at a lower cost while improving conveying efficiency.
