Exhaust gas treatment centrifugal fan
Other Products
The exhaust gas treatment centrifugal fan is a common device used for industrial exhaust gas treatment. It transports exhaust gas from one location to another through centrifugal force, while also providing certain treatment and purification of the exhaust gas.
Working Principle
When the motor drives the impeller to rotate, the air inside the impeller is subjected to centrifugal force and is thrown toward the edge of the impeller, creating a negative pressure at the center of the impeller. External air is drawn into the center of the impeller under atmospheric pressure, then gains energy and is transported outward as the impeller rotates. In exhaust gas treatment, centrifugal fans are typically used to transport exhaust gas from the source to treatment equipment, such as exhaust gas purifiers or exhaust gas incinerators.
Performance Parameters
- Air Volume: Refers to the volume of gas transported by the fan per unit of time, usually measured in cubic meters per hour (m³/h).
- Air Pressure: Refers to the pressure generated by the fan when transporting gas, usually measured in Pascals (Pa).
- Power: Refers to the electrical power consumed by the fan during operation, usually measured in kilowatts (kW).
- Rotational Speed: Refers to the number of revolutions per minute of the fan impeller, usually measured in revolutions per minute (r/min).
- Efficiency: Refers to the ratio of the electrical power consumed by the fan during operation to the effective power generated, usually expressed as a percentage (%).
Structural Components
- Impeller: Composed of 12 backward-inclined flat blades made of 16Mn material, welded between an arc-conical front disc and a flat rear disc. It undergoes static and dynamic balance correction and overspeed rotation tests, ensuring smooth and reliable operation, high strength, wear resistance, and a long service life.
- Casing: Generally made of steel plate, sturdy and reliable. It can be either integral or semi-open, with the semi-open type facilitating maintenance.
- Air Inlet: Generally designed as a convergent streamlined integral structure, fixed to one side of the fan with bolts.
- Drive Assembly: The drive shaft is made of high-quality steel and uses rolling bearings.
Application Areas
- Chemical Industry: Used for treating exhaust gases generated during chemical production processes, such as sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, and hydrogen chloride.
- Electronics Industry: Used for treating exhaust gases generated during electronics production processes, such as photoresist exhaust and developer exhaust.
- Coating Industry: Used for treating exhaust gases generated during coating production processes, such as spray paint exhaust and baking paint exhaust.
- Food Industry: Used for treating exhaust gases generated during food production processes, such as oil fume exhaust and odor exhaust.
