A variable frequency centrifugal fan is a ventilation device that combines variable frequency technology with the characteristics of a centrifugal fan. By changing the frequency of the input power supply, it adjusts the motor speed to achieve precise control over the fan's air volume and pressure.

Working Principle

- Centrifugal Fan Principle: Relies on the rotation of the impeller to impart centrifugal force to the gas, enabling gas transportation. When the impeller rotates at high speed, gas is thrown to the edge of the impeller, forming a high-pressure zone, and then discharged through the outlet. Simultaneously, a low-pressure zone forms at the center of the impeller, drawing in external gas under atmospheric pressure, thus achieving ventilation through this cycle.

- Role of Variable Frequency Technology: By altering the power supply frequency to the motor, the motor speed is adjusted. When a smaller air volume is needed, the frequency is reduced to slow down the motor speed, decreasing the fan's output air volume. Conversely, increasing the frequency raises the motor speed and air volume, enabling on-demand air supply.
