4-72 Centrifugal Ventilator

The 4-72 centrifugal fan can transport air and other non-flammable gases that are stable to human exposure and non-corrosive to steel. The gas must not contain viscous substances, and the dust and hard particles contained should not exceed 150 mg/m³. The gas temperature must not exceed 80°C. This blower features excellent aerodynamic performance, stable operation, low vibration, high efficiency, and long service life. It is available in four structural types: A, B, C, and D. This fan is widely used for indoor ventilation in industrial and mining enterprises, large buildings, hotels, and restaurants.

The 4-72 centrifugal fan is generally used for ventilation in factories or large buildings, capable of both inputting and outputting gases. The gases transported are air or other non-flammable, non-volatile gases that are stable to human exposure and non-corrosive to steel. The gas must not contain viscous substances, and the dust and hard particles contained should not exceed 150 mg/m³. The gas temperature must not exceed 80°C.

Structure of the 4-72 Centrifugal Ventilator

The 4-72 centrifugal ventilator mainly consists of an impeller, casing, air inlet, and other parts, coupled with a direct-drive motor. In addition to the above components, it also includes a transmission part.

1. Impeller—Composed of 10 backward-inclined arc-shaped thin blades, a curved front disc, and a flat rear disc, all made of steel plate. It undergoes static and dynamic balance correction and overspeed operation tests, ensuring excellent air performance and smooth operation.

2. Casing—The casing is made as an integral structure; models No. 14–20 are made as a two-part split type, divided horizontally along the center plane into two halves, connected by bolts.

3. Air Inlet—Made as an integral structure, fixed to one side of the fan with bolts. The cross-section parallel to the axial direction is curved, allowing gas to enter the impeller smoothly with minimal loss.

4. Transmission—Consists of a main shaft, bearing housing, rolling bearings, and pulley.

Before installation, prepare the installation materials and tools, and inspect all parts of the blower. Pay special attention to the impeller, main shaft, and bearings. If any damage is found, repair it, and then clean the inside of the bearing housing with kerosene. During the installation process,

1. To prevent rust and reduce disassembly difficulties, apply grease and machine oil.

2. When tightening joint surface bolts, if there are positioning pins, install the pins first and then tighten the bolts.

3. Check the inside of the casing and other housing parts to ensure no tools or debris are left inside.

The rotation direction of the 4-72 centrifugal fan is divided into right-hand and left-hand rotation. The outlet position of the blower is indicated by the outlet angle of the casing, with many options available. The blower's transmission methods include four types: A, B, C, and D. Type A is direct coupling between the impeller and the motor, Type B is belt drive with the pulley between the two bearings, Type C is belt drive with the pulley overhanging outside the bearings, and Type D is coupling between the impeller and the motor.
