Ammonium hydrogen fluoride

Ammonium hydrogen fluoride (English name: Ammonium Hydrogen Fluoride) is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula NH₄HF₂ and a molecular weight of approximately 57.04. It is used in industry as a disinfectant and preservative, in the metallurgical industry as a solvent for producing metallic beryllium and a surface treatment agent for silicon steel plates, in the glass industry as a glass etchant in combination with hydrofluoric acid, in the petroleum industry for cleaning silicate-containing boiler scale and treating limestone and sandstone, in the textile industry to remove residual rust and alkaline substances from fabrics, in water treatment as a cleaning agent for boiler feedwater, and in analytical chemistry as an analytical reagent. Additionally, it can be used in industries such as electroplating, ceramics, and semiconductors.
