OP-10 (Dodecylphenol polyoxyethylene ether) is a non-ionic surfactant chemical raw material, appearing as a white or milky paste, easily soluble in water, with a pH value of 6-7 and an HLB value of 14.5. It possesses properties such as emulsification, level dyeing, and antistatic characteristics, and remains stable in hard water and acid-base environments.

This substance is used in the synthetic fiber industry as an oil agent component to enhance sizing film performance, as a leveling agent in low-temperature wool dyeing, and is widely applied in emulsification processes in fields such as pesticides, pharmaceuticals, and rubber. As a hydrophilic emulsifier, it can stabilize and refine mineral oil emulsions^[1]. By adjusting the HLB value or adding water or ethanol to alter the molecular conformation, emulsification stability can be enhanced; however, when the temperature exceeds 40°C, weakened hydrogen bonds may lead to a decrease in emulsion stability. In the construction industry, it is used as an asphalt emulsifier and concrete dispersant, and also finds applications in areas such as household detergents and metal cleaning agents.
