AEO-9

AEO-9 belongs to fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether, R-O-(CH2CH2O)nH (R=C12～18, n=9), which is an adduct of natural fatty alcohol and ethylene oxide. Nonionic surfactant. Mainly used as an emulsifier in emulsion, cream, and shampoo cosmetics. It has excellent water solubility and can be used to produce oil-in-water emulsions. It is also used as an antistatic agent. As a hydrophilic emulsifier, it can enhance the solubility of certain substances in water and can serve as an emulsifier for O/W emulsions.

It has good emulsifying, detergency, and cleaning properties and is widely used in the formulation of household detergents, industrial emulsifiers, and metal cleaners.

Solubility: Easily soluble in water, ethanol, ethylene glycol, etc. AEO- is used as an emulsifier, generally dissolved in water, but it is insoluble at room temperature and dissolves well at slightly above room temperature.

Chemical properties: A 10% aqueous solution is clear and transparent at 25°C. The turbidity of a 10% calcium chloride solution is 75 degrees. It is relatively stable in acidic, alkaline solutions, and hard water. It has good emulsifying and dispersing properties.
