Lan-826 Acid Pickling Corrosion Inhibitor

A reagent used to slow down the corrosion of acid on the metal substrate during the metal pickling process.

Lan-826 Acid Pickling Corrosion Inhibitor (also known as Blue 826 Acid Pickling Corrosion Inhibitor) is a specialized chemical agent for metal pickling developed by BlueStar Company. It has won the Third Prize for Invention from the National Science and Technology Commission and is applied in equipment cleaning fields such as petrochemicals and mechanical manufacturing. This product isolates acidic media through a surface film-forming mechanism, inhibits metal hydrogen absorption and Fe³⁺ corrosion, and is suitable for various pickling systems, including single or combined metal materials such as carbon steel and stainless steel^[1].

This corrosion inhibitor appears as a light yellow or deep red weakly alkaline liquid, non-toxic and odorless. The recommended usage concentration is 0.5-2% of the pickling solution, and the working temperature in inorganic acid environments should be below 45°C. Its corrosion inhibition efficiency can reach over 90%, with corrosion rates below 1% in some test scenarios, effectively preventing hydrogen embrittlement and acid mist generation^[1-2]. The product must be sealed and stored in a cool place, used promptly after preparation, and avoid high-concentration acid solutions causing corrosion inhibition failure.
