InGaAs-PIN Picowatt Photodetector PWPR-2K-IN-FST (Low Noise 2 kHz Bandwidth)

FEMTO's pico-watt optical receiver series PWPR-2K features switchable gain (10^9 V/A, 10^10 V/A) and a bandwidth from DC to 2 kHz. It is the perfect choice for continuous-wave measurements, time-resolved signal acquisition, and high-sensitivity modulation measurements.

Additional features of the PWPR-2K optical receiver include: ultra-low noise, NEP ≤ 10 fW/√Hz. Si and InGaAs models cover a wavelength range from 320 to 1700 nm.

In addition to precise and fast continuous-wave measurements, the relatively large bandwidth from DC to 2 kHz also supports time-resolved and modulation measurements. Particularly noteworthy is the combination with lock-in amplifiers, enabling ultra-sensitive measurement systems that are almost immune to external interference sources. In this way, the PWPR-2K can easily detect optical power from approximately 100 fW to 10 nW.
