LCA-200-10G Imported High-Precision Low-Noise Transimpedance Amplifier

Unlike desktop amplifiers, preamplifier modules provide gain close to the detector before the signal-to-noise ratio is significantly degraded by cable capacitance and noise pickup. Signal processing and measurement after the preamplifier do not affect the signal-to-noise ratio performance. To achieve extremely low noise performance, we have selected very high gain while minimizing associated bandwidth loss. With our excellent R&D capabilities, we are able to offer a professional "high-end" series of current amplifiers. At a given bandwidth, the noise performance of our products far exceeds that of conventionally designed operational amplifier current-to-voltage converters.

FEMTO transimpedance amplifiers achieve near-ideal operation without any special adjustment or frequency compensation. Bandwidth and frequency response are independent of source capacitance up to 10 nF. There is no gain peaking. Lock-in amplifiers typically have special current inputs. In noise-limited experiments, using a low-noise preamplifier instead of a preamplifier significantly improves the sensitivity and speed of DSP locking. Femtoampere currents can then be measured within milliseconds.
