In human-robot collaboration (HRC) without barriers, collisions between humans and robots are inevitable. To ensure the safety of HRC workstations, the permissible limits for force and pressure specified in ISO/TS 15066 must be strictly adhered to.

Principle

● The system consists of PC software, CoboSafe CBSF force sensor, and a pressure measurement system via CoboSafe-Scan (based on Fuji® Prescale film) or CoboSafe-Tek (electronic film sensor).

● The CBSF-Basic force gauge already evaluates force measurements and displays results on the screen.

● Collision pressure and pressure distribution are measured using Fuji® Prescale film or Tekscan film.

Compliance with Standards

CoboSafe employs "bio-imitating" technology, which simulates the human body, thereby ensuring realistic collision scenarios. The force tester of the measurement system includes springs and damping elements that can simulate the deformation behavior of nearly all relevant human body parts. This enables the measurement of biomechanical limit values according to the following standards:
