I. Product Introduction:
To monitor ground safety, there is a need for a proven friction and wear testing machine for detection. There have been many types and designs of slip resistance testers or static friction coefficient testers in the past, but many of them are quite bulky. The imported static friction coefficient tester from the United States is used to quickly measure the static friction coefficient value of floors such as tiles and stone, to determine whether the ground or pavement is safe, and it greatly helps in evaluating the slip resistance of floors. It is a recognized testing sensor material.
II. Operating Steps:
Before operation, complete all preparations and clean the sensor thoroughly. Gently place the slip tester flat to prepare for formal testing. Connect the nylon thread chain to the end shaft of the instrument. Use two fingers to pull the thread, with the rest of the hand perpendicular to the hook, ensuring the thread is taut. Hook the loop of the thread with the index finger, curl the index finger to pull the slip tester, and then read the data displayed by the slip tester. Press the reset button twice, and repeat the above testing method in four vertical directions until a safe value is sampled and recorded. Any abnormal, high, or low value should be discarded, and another value should be measured again. Both Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and the American Society for Testing and Materials adopt a static friction coefficient of 0.50 or above as the recognized standard for providing a safe surface.
III. Precautions: Before and after each use, regularly clean the sensor by sanding with sandpaper and brushing (cyclic testing) to prevent the accumulation of dust from the measurement surface during each measurement.

V. Static Friction Tester ASM825A Testing Operation Procedure
[Step 1]. Install three sensors on the instrument, complete the sanding and cleaning of the sensor foot pads, and then gently place the instrument on the surface of the test area.
[Step 2]. Use the blue button on the right to select the test surface condition: Dry or Wet.
[Step 3]. Press the blue button on the left (Test(+)/Calbrite) once, and a "+" symbol will appear on the left side of the screen. Press this test button twice.
[Step 4]. Take out the pulling nylon thread set. Hook the S-shaped loop at one end to the pulling shaft under the instrument, and hook the ring at the other end with the curled index finger. Curl the other four fingers into a fist and slowly straighten the nylon thread (Figure 1, 2 on the right). The control thread should be straight and horizontal. Using the middle ring finger and index finger, slowly curl the index finger toward the palm, applying steady force until the instrument begins to move. At this point, observe the reading changes on the screen. The reading at the moment the instrument moves is the maximum static friction coefficient measured. The reading will stop, and this test data should be recorded. Press the test button (Test/Calbrite) twice, and repeat this process to record the test data.
