Unlike desktop amplifiers, FEMTO's ultra-low noise current amplifiers provide preamplifier modules that offer gain close to the detector before signal-to-noise ratio significantly degrades due to cable capacitance and noise pickup. After signal processing and measurement, the preamplifier has no impact on the signal and noise. To achieve extremely low noise by minimizing the associated bandwidth, a very high gain value should be selected.
