HyperOPS Profiling Hyperspectral Observation System

HyperOPS Profiling Hyperspectral Observation System is a free-fall profiling hyperspectral optical measurement system used to measure optical properties in aquatic systems. It consists of two radiometers (one measuring upwelling radiance in water, one measuring downwelling irradiance or upwelling irradiance), pressure, and tilt sensors. The unique optical profiling free-fall, kite-shaped backplane design effectively avoids the influence of hull shadows, enabling the acquisition of high-precision underwater ambient light fields (downwelling irradiance and upwelling radiance). HyperOPS is very lightweight and easy to use, deployable manually by almost anyone. It can be quickly assembled and deployed on small or large vessels, making it a versatile platform for measuring optical properties in various aquatic environments.
