1. Determine the product type requiring certification and submit the application

2. Identify the European product directive; decorative wall coverings must comply with the new EU Construction Products Regulation CPR 305/2011/EU

3. Determine the European harmonized standard; decorative wall coverings must comply with harmonized standard EN 15102

4. Conduct testing and evaluation according to the CPR directive and harmonized standard EN 15102, carried out by a EU notified body under system 1 or system 3

5. Obtain test reports and certificates issued by the EU notified body (if certified under system 1, factory inspection is required; under system 3, testing and certification are conducted by a notified laboratory)

6. Issue the Declaration of Performance

7. Affix the CE marking with the notified body number on the product packaging

8. Freely sell in the European market
