Principle of CO₂ Laser Marking Machine
The CO2 laser is a gas laser that produces a wavelength of 10.6 μm, which falls within the mid-infrared frequency band. CO2 lasers offer relatively high power and high electro-optical conversion efficiency, making them one of the most powerful types of lasers available. The CO2 laser uses CO2 gas as the working medium. CO₂ and other auxiliary gases are filled into the discharge tube. When a high voltage is applied to the electrodes, a glow discharge is generated in the discharge tube, causing the gas molecules to release laser light. The released laser energy is then amplified for laser processing.
