I. Overview

The CLF-type coarse particle separation device is mechanical equipment used in the primary sewage treatment process to separate large particle mixtures. It removes iron oxide scale from water and serves as a pre-treatment supporting device for inclined plate sedimentation tanks.

The coarse particle separator deposits large particles into the lower spiral U-shaped trough. An axial spiral pushes the large particles toward the upper outlet for natural dewatering and discharge.

II. Working Principle

The CLF-type coarse particle separation device mainly consists of an upper water inlet trough, separation trough, spiral conveying trough, hollow belt spiral, drive mechanism, water outlet trough, tail manual adjustment mechanism, and other components.

Sewage delivered from the production workshop enters the upper separation trough through the top inlet trough for deceleration and sedimentation. Blocked by rubber curtains in the inlet trough, the sewage's retention time is increased. Most of the water enters the outlet zone from the lower part of the rubber curtains, reducing particle sedimentation time and improving the equipment's processing capacity. The water collected in the outlet zone flows into the outlet trough via weir plates and is discharged through the outlet.
