Electromagnetic Coagulator
I. Overview
The DCS series adjustable electromagnetic coagulator for channels (referred to as coagulator) is a new type of water treatment equipment developed by our company using electromagnetic principles. It can continuously adjust magnetic field intensity to treat sewage through magnetic field processing. Designed with ten specifications to meet different user requirements for water treatment capacity, this equipment has been successfully applied in the treatment of steel industry wastewater.
II. Working Principle
This equipment can be directly installed in water conveyance and drainage channels. It is powered by a low-voltage DC supply from a silicon rectifier. By adjusting the output current of the silicon rectifier, different magnetic field intensities are generated to treat water magnetically.
After magnetic treatment, water or aqueous solutions exhibit measurable changes in properties such as optical characteristics, ion hydration, magnetic susceptibility, electrical conductivity, dielectric constant, viscosity, chemical reactions, surface tension, adsorption, dissolution, crystallization, coagulation, evaporation rate, and electrochemical effects.
When wastewater containing ferromagnetic and non-ferromagnetic particles is treated with a magnetic field, suspended particles coagulate into large flocs. This significantly increases the settling speed of suspended particles, markedly improves the purification efficiency of sedimentation facilities, and enhances the dewatering performance of sediment sludge.
