Introduction to Insulation Rubber Mats:
Insulation rubber mats, also known as insulating rubber pads, insulating mats, insulating gaskets, or insulating blankets, are widely used in substations, power plants, distribution rooms, laboratories, and outdoor live working environments.
Made from rubber-based insulating materials, the upper and lower surfaces of the insulation mat should be free from harmful irregularities. Harmful irregularities refer to defects that compromise uniformity or damage the smooth surface profile, such as small holes, cracks, local bulges, cuts, embedded conductive foreign objects, folds, voids,凹凸波纹 (uneven波纹), and casting marks. Harmless irregularities refer to surface irregularities formed during the production process.

Features of Insulation Rubber Mats
Excellent physical and mechanical properties, with superior insulation performance, capable of operating in dry air environments with high dielectric requirements within a temperature range of -35~+100℃.
Manufacturing Process and Forming of Insulation Rubber Mats:
The upper and lower surfaces of the insulation mat should be free from harmful irregularities.
Thickness of Insulation Rubber Mats:
Randomly select more than five different points across the entire insulation mat for thickness measurement and inspection. A micrometer or an instrument of equivalent accuracy can be used for measurement. The micrometer should have an accuracy within 0.02mm, with a measuring anvil diameter of 6mm and a flat presser foot diameter of (3.17±0.25)mm. The presser foot should apply a force of (0.83±0.03)N. The insulation mat should be laid flat to ensure smooth measurement with the micrometer.
National Standards for Insulation Rubber Mats:
For 10KV distribution rooms, choose 8mm thickness: withstands 10000V power frequency withstand voltage test for 1 minute without breakdown; breaks down at 18000V power frequency withstand voltage test in 20 seconds. For 35KV distribution rooms, choose 10-12mm thickness: withstands 15000V power frequency withstand voltage test for 1 minute without breakdown; breaks down at 26000V power frequency withstand voltage test in 20 seconds. For low-voltage distribution rooms, choose 5mm thickness (below 500V): withstands 3500V power frequency withstand voltage test for 1 minute without breakdown; withstands 10000V power frequency withstand voltage test for 20 seconds without breakdown!
