Nepeta oil

Schizonepeta, a traditional Chinese medicine name. It refers to the above-ground parts of the plant Schizonepeta tenuifolia Briq., which belongs to the Lamiaceae family. It has the effects of dispelling wind, relieving the exterior syndrome, promoting eruption, eliminating sores, and stopping bleeding. It is primarily used to treat external contraction of superficial syndromes, measles that fails to erupt, itching from rubella, early-stage sores and ulcers accompanied by superficial syndromes, and bleeding such as vomiting blood, nosebleeds, or bloody stools. It is mainly produced in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Henan, Hebei, Shandong, and other regions.
