Mixing Addition-Cure Liquid Silicone
Weigh Materials: Based on the prototype volume, weigh the addition-cure liquid silicone and curing agent proportionally (e.g., 1:1 ratio, equal amounts of silicone and curing agent). Ensure accurate measurement, as an imbalanced ratio may result in incomplete curing or reduced performance.
Stir Evenly: Pour the curing agent into the silicone and stir slowly in the same direction using a stirring rod to avoid excessive bubbles. Stir for approximately 3-5 minutes until the mixture is uniform in color.
Deaeration (Optional): For higher precision molds, place the mixed silicone into a vacuum chamber for deaeration for 5-10 minutes until all bubbles are eliminated. If a vacuum chamber is unavailable, let the mixture sit for 10-15 minutes to allow bubbles to rise and dissipate naturally.

 Pouring Silicone Molds
Apply Release Agent: Evenly coat the prototype surface with a layer of release agent, ensuring no areas are missed, especially grooves and crevices, to facilitate demolding later.
Pour Silicone: Slowly pour the deaerated silicone into the mold frame, starting from one side of the prototype to allow gradual coverage and avoid direct impact that may trap bubbles. Gently tap the mold frame during pouring to help release bubbles.
Wait for Curing: Addition-cure silicone typically takes 2-4 hours to cure (specific time depends on temperature; higher temperatures accelerate curing). Maintain a stable environment during curing and avoid vibrations.
