As a result, the energy consumption required to ensure indoor air quality (for air conditioning, ventilation, heating, and hot water supply) will rise rapidly. Energy consumption data is categorized based on factors that influence it, ensuring that only comparable data is compared. An important factor affecting energy consumption is the degree day. Degree days represent the load demand for indoor cooling and heating under different outdoor temperatures. A high cooling degree day indicates a greater demand for cooling, while a high heating degree day indicates a greater demand for heating, both of which lead to an increase in overall building energy consumption.

The Energy Management Cloud Platform is primarily designed for distributed group customers such as chain businesses, corporations, department stores, stores, properties, and educational institutions located across different provinces, cities, or regions within the same city. The system installs multifunctional power metering devices at local substations or distribution rooms, and various meters such as water and gas meters at energy consumption sites. Data collected from these meters is transmitted via gateways using wireless (3G/4G) or wired methods to the company's leased cloud servers, where it is centrally stored and uniformly managed. Authorized users can access data and receive alarm information through various terminal devices, enabling managers to stay informed about energy usage at each location and manage it promptly.
