IC Card Water Meter

IC card water meters for household use are widely applied in various residential areas, villas, and buildings across the country. With technological advancements, household water meters have diversified into types such as mechanical water meters, smart water meters, and remote transmission water meters. When users consume tap water, the flow drives internal blades to rotate, which in turn changes the reading, thereby recording water usage.

Performance Features:

◆ Prepayment Mode:

Prepayment mode means paying for water before usage: the initial available water volume in the meter is zero, and the valve is closed. Users go to a water sales point to open an account and purchase water, then receive a user card. Inserting the card into the corresponding water meter allows the meter to read the available water volume from the card, after which the valve opens for normal water supply. Once the available water volume is used up, the valve closes. Users then take the card to the sales point to purchase more water and insert the recharged card into the meter, repeating the initial process.

◆ Card Replacement and Data Transfer Function:

A user card can only complete one successful transaction with the corresponding water meter per purchase. If the card is lost, it can be replaced using the software database management function without loss or duplication of water volume. When a water meter needs replacement, place a recovery transfer card in the meter's swipe area to read the data, then transfer the data to the new meter by swiping the card in the new meter's area, migrating the old meter's information.

◆ Dual Display Modes: Mechanical and Electronic:

Household water meters retain the mechanical digit wheel and pointer display while adding an LCD screen. Even if the electronic part fails, the cumulative water usage can still be read from the mechanical digit wheel.

◆ Tiered Water Pricing Mode:

Implements different tiered water fees based on regional tiered pricing policies, encouraging water conservation by charging higher rates for higher usage, thus raising public awareness of water saving!
