The disc of the soft-sealed butterfly valve is installed along the diameter direction of the pipeline. Within the cylindrical channel of the valve body, the disc-shaped butterfly plate rotates around the axis, with a rotation angle ranging from 0° to 90°. When rotated to 90°, the valve is fully open. This type of valve should generally be installed horizontally in pipelines, considering the characteristics of the new high-durability stainless steel butterfly valve and the issues that may arise during its use. Soft-sealed butterfly valves can be classified based on their connection methods into flanged soft-sealed butterfly valves, wafer-type soft-sealed butterfly valves, and welded soft-sealed butterfly valves.
