Shutdown Fluid
Helanpo™ Shutdown Fluid is a cleaning buffer solution used for automated shutdown procedures in flow cytometers.
1. Minimizes Foam Formation
This nitrogen-free shutdown solution is designed to minimize bubble formation that may occur in the system fluid overnight. Its formulation helps maintain the cleanliness of the system fluid and minimizes microbial growth within the system.
2. Instrument Maintenance Use
At the end of each day, use the shutdown cycle to ensure all sample liquids and dyes have been cleared from the system, and to fill the system fluid and pumps with Helanpo™ Shutdown Fluid to prevent salt deposits from forming in the system fluid. The shutdown process takes approximately 20 minutes, with most steps automated under the control of cell detection software. Even if the instrument is intended for continuous use, the shutdown procedure should be run at least once daily. Proper cleaning of the instrument ensures consistent and accurate operation.
3. Storage Conditions and Shelf Life:
Store in a dry, well-ventilated, clean room at 2–35°C. The shelf life is 24 months. After opening, the product remains effective for 60 days.
4. Convenience
The 1X Shutdown Fluid is designed to eliminate the need for dilution before use. After opening, the shutdown fluid remains stable for 60 days.
