Fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether carboxylic acid

[Performance] It is a type of multifunctional anionic surfactant, whose structure is very similar to fatty alcohol ether, but the embedded EO chain gives it the characteristics of both anionic and nonionic surfactants, making it usable under a wide range of pH conditions. It has good detergency, emulsification, dispersion, and lime soap dispersing power; excellent foaming ability and foam stability; resistance to acids, alkalis, hard water, high temperatures, oxidants, and reducing agents; good compatibility, especially without interfering with cationic properties; strong solubilizing performance, suitable for formulating functional transparent products; and is easily biodegradable.

[Application] Used as an emulsifier or co-emulsifier in emulsion-based cosmetics; for mild shampoos, body washes, facial cleansers, hand soaps, and other personal cleaning and care products; added to soap bars to improve mildness, lime soap dispersing power, foaming performance, and bathing feel; used in household detergents, industrial cleaners, and phosphate-free detergents; applied in the textile industry for processes such as scouring, mercerizing, bleaching, softening, and dyeing; employed as a high-temperature and high-electrolyte-resistant emulsifier and viscosity reducer in enhanced oil recovery and petroleum transportation to improve crude oil recovery and prevent wax deposition; used in the paper industry for wastepaper deinking and in softener formulations; and utilized as a component of degreasing agents in the leather industry.
