【Properties】White to slightly yellow flaky solid with a slight waxy or fatty odor. Melting point 58-64°C. Dissolves or emulsifies when heated in surfactant complexes; upon cooling, it precipitates as lens-shaped crystals, thereby producing a pearlescent luster. Used in liquid detergent products to create a pearlescent effect and increase product viscosity. Exhibits good compatibility with other types of surfactants. Comparatively, ethylene glycol distearate produces a stronger pearlescence, while ethylene glycol monostearate yields a finer pearlescent effect.

【Application】Used in formulations such as shampoos, body washes, hand soaps, skin care lotions, and liquid detergents. Also applicable in metal processing detergents and fiber processing fields.
