Principle of Injection Molding Process:

The main purpose of copper inserts is to be injection molded into plastic parts, forming an effective internal thread after installation. The operation involves heating the product and embedding it into the plastic part or directly using mold injection. Due to the good thermal conductivity of brass, heating and pressing the copper insert into the plastic base allows the product to heat up quickly, improving work efficiency. The heated copper insert can also rapidly transfer heat to the plastic part, softening the area around the plastic hole, enabling the product to be pressed into the hole. If mold injection is used, after the copper insert is hot-injected into the plastic part, the knurling process on the outer diameter creates a certain amount of friction and engagement force once formed, fixing it securely inside and preventing it from falling out.
