Installation of the Dust Barrier Curtain:

The dust barrier curtain is installed along the tunnel roof, with its size generally matching the tunnel specifications. A heavy iron or wooden rod is attached to the bottom of the curtain to ensure it hangs down and seals the entire tunnel cross-section. A pedestrian passage is left on one side of the tunnel, and the dust suppression spray is installed on the windward side of the dust barrier curtain.

Dust Reduction Principle of the Dust Barrier Curtain:

The dust barrier curtain serves the following functions:

Blocking and filtering effect: By hanging the dust barrier curtain in the tunnel, airborne coal dust is blocked and captured as it passes through, reducing the concentration of coal dust in the air and purifying the environment.

Moistening and washing effect: A purification spray device installed in front of the dust barrier curtain moistens the captured coal dust with water droplets, washing it down to the tunnel floor, where it becomes settled dust instead of remaining airborne.
