Properties: This product is a white crystalline powder with a melting point of 175-182°C, odorless, and extremely bitter. It is easily soluble in ethanol and other solvents, with a solubility in water of approximately 0.0005%. The solution is neutral.

Application: This product is known as the bitterest substance in the world (approximately four times bitterer than quassin) and is used as a bittering agent (or aversive agent) in daily and industrial products to prevent accidental poisoning in humans and animals, as well as to deter animals from chewing on items (usage concentration: 1-50 ppm).

Main applications are as follows:

1. An economical and highly effective substitute for products such as quassin, quinine, and wood glycosides;

2. The best denaturant for alcohol, ethanol gasoline for vehicles, animal and mineral fats;

3. An aversive agent for automotive antifreeze, brake fluid, windshield cleaner, etc.;

4. Used in cosmetics, hair care products, nail polish, and nail polish removers;

5. Used in household products (cleaners, disinfectants, insecticides, leather protectants, etc.);

6. Used in children's toys and decorative items;

7. Used in chemicals, paints, paint removers, and printing inks;
