Properties: This product is a white crystalline powder or granules, odorless, with a very strong bitter taste, melting point 163-170°C, highly soluble in water, ethanol, ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, etc., and its aqueous solution is neutral.

Uses: This product is the best alcohol denaturant and is known as the bitterest substance in the world. It becomes unbearable at a concentration of 0.003% in solution. It is used as a bittering agent (or aversive agent) in daily and industrial products to prevent poisoning incidents caused by accidental ingestion by humans or animals.

Main applications are as follows:

1. A cost-effective and efficient substitute for quassin, quinine, and wood glycosides;

2. The best alcohol denaturant;

3. Applications in automotive chemicals, such as antifreeze, brake fluid, hydraulic fluid, battery replenisher, ethanol gasoline for automobiles, windshield washer fluid, car polish, etc.;

4. Applications in cosmetics, hair care products, etc., such as toners, hairsprays, hair dyes, sunscreens (creams), perfumes, etc.;

5.
