I. Product Background

  With the advancement and enhancement of urbanization, the demand for gas sources in cities is increasing. Some cities in China have begun to introduce new gas sources in the gas industry, such as refinery dry gas and CNC. The application of these new gas sources has, to some extent, addressed the issue of insufficient gas supply while also improving gas quality and reducing supply risks. Therefore, it is of great significance to enhance research on the application of biomass gas technology in urban gas supply systems.

Among various biomass utilization methods, biomass gasification has gained increasing attention due to its high efficiency, low cost, and convenience in use and transportation. Gasification is a process that uses a gasification medium to convert carbon-containing materials into gases such as hydrogen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and methane. Depending on the gas medium, gasification can be classified into air gasification, steam gasification, air-steam gasification, etc. Based on the type of gasification reactor, it can be further divided into fluidized bed gasification, fixed bed gasification, moving bed gasification, etc.

The biomass gasification process can be divided into four stages: solid fuel drying, thermal decomposition reaction, reduction reaction, and oxidation reaction. However, these reaction processes are not entirely independent but rather interpenetrate and overlap. As the gasification temperature increases, gas production gradually rises, with the concentrations of carbon dioxide, hydrogen, methane, and hydrocarbon gases increasing to varying degrees. Notably, the concentration of combustible components increases, improving gas quality. The air-steam gasification agent significantly increases the volume fractions of hydrogen and carbon dioxide. Steam promotes the further cracking of tar generated during biomass gasification, producing gaseous products such as methane and CnHm. Monitoring the gas components during gasification using a gas analyzer helps us control and optimize the biomass gas production process, enhancing both gas yield and quality.

Tianyu Zhikong's independently developed portable infrared biomass gas analyzer TY-6331P utilizes advanced NDIR non-dispersive infrared technology and MEMS-based TCD thermal conductivity technology. It is primarily used to measure the volume concentrations and calorific values of six gases in various biomass gases: CO, CO2, CH4, H2, O2, and CnHm.

1. Advantages and Features

(3) Measures the volume concentrations of CO, CO2, CH4, H2, O2, and CnHm in gases. Features an over-range limit enable function, ensuring measurement accuracy within the range while providing reference values for over-range measurements.

(4) Automatic calorific value calculation, with free switching between calorific value units Kcal/m³ and MJ/m³.

(5) Automatic internal gas interference correction ensures interference-free measurement results.

Measures CnHm concentration to ensure the accuracy of calorific values for gases such as coke oven gas, mixed gas, generator gas, and straw gas.

Corrects interference from CnHm gas on CH4 measurements for precise CH4 concentration measurement.

Corrects interference from CO, CO2, and CH4 on H2 measurements for precise H2 concentration measurement.

Corrects interference on CO and CO2 measurements for precise CO and CO2 concentration measurement.

Changes in gas sampling flow rate have no effect on H2 thermal conductivity sensor measurements.

(6) The instrument features an intelligent user calibration gas concentration determination function to prevent operational errors that could render the instrument unusable.
