Laser Dust Concentration Detector XKCON-GCG1000

The XKCON-GCG1000 dust concentration detector developed by Jinan XKCON Automation Co., Ltd. is based on the light scattering detection principle. The microprocessor processes the detection data to directly display the dust mass concentration and convert it into a data signal output. It features high detection accuracy, excellent stability, and strong anti-interference capability.

The XKCON-GCG1000 laser dust concentration detector supports a 12-24VDC power supply. The device housing adopts a mining intrinsic safety explosion-proof form, with an explosion-proof rating of Ex ib II C T6 Gb / Ex ibD 21 T80℃.

II. Components

The XKCON-GCG1000 laser dust detector consists of a sampling head, detection unit, microcontroller system, and air extraction system.

III. Dust Detection Principle

During operation, the air extraction system draws external air into the sensor's dark chamber through the intake port. When airborne dust in the dark chamber is irradiated by parallel light from the laser generator, the intensity of the scattered light is proportional to the mass concentration. This scattered light is converted into photocurrent by a photoelectric converter, and then transformed by the main control board's photocurrent integration circuit into photoelectric pulse counts proportional to the scattered light intensity. Calculating the pulse count allows measurement of the relative mass concentration of dust.
