Anti-reflective glass (also known as AR glass or anti-glare glass) is an optical glass that significantly reduces light reflection and enhances light transmittance through surface coating technology. Its principle relies on the interference effect of multi-layer nanoscale optical films, which cancels out reflected light and enhances transmitted light, thereby increasing visible light transmittance to over 99% and reducing reflectivity to below 1%.
Compared to ordinary glass (with approximately 88% transmittance and 8% reflectivity), anti-reflective glass offers higher clarity, stronger contrast, and more accurate color reproduction. It is widely used in applications with extremely high visual quality requirements, such as high-definition displays, museum display cases, optical lenses, solar cells, and AR glasses.
