MP-508C Soil Temperature and Moisture Sensor

The MP-508C integrated soil temperature and moisture sensor combines soil humidity and soil temperature sensors into one unit, facilitating simultaneous measurement and research of soil moisture and soil temperature. The soil moisture measurement is based on the FDR principle, developed as an instrument for measuring soil volumetric water content. In addition to being directly compatible with control instruments, this device can also connect to various data collectors and handheld terminals. For scientific research or irrigation management, it enables rapid measurement of soil temperature and moisture by inserting the sensor's stainless steel probe into the soil surface or soil profile. Long-term measurements can be achieved by permanently burying the 508C probe underground and connecting it to a data logger.
