Main Properties:
390S is a product specially developed by Nippon Paper Industries for gravure inks. It is based on chlorinated polypropylene resin and modified to exhibit good compatibility with polyurethane resins (as well as with conventional chlorinated polypropylene resins). It is highly suitable for solvent-based gravure polyurethane composite inks, improving the adhesion of polyurethane inks on polypropylene materials such as OPP/BOPP. 390S has excellent solubility and can be dissolved using a single ester solvent, making it suitable for benzene-free and ketone-free ink systems, which is environmentally friendly. Typically, 390S is first dissolved into a solution with a solid content of 40-45%, and then added to polyurethane inks at 0.5-1.0% of the total amount.
