Composite Air Release ValveBXFMOverview:

The BXFM stainless steel composite air release valve is used at the highest points of pipelines or areas where air may be trapped to expel gas from the pipeline, ensuring smooth operation. Without an air release valve, air resistance may occur at any time, reducing the pipeline's water output below design requirements. Additionally, in the event of power outages or pump stoppages, negative pressure can cause pipeline vibration or rupture. The air release valve quickly draws air into the pipeline to prevent such issues.

Composite Air Release Valve Working Principle:

When water enters the pipeline, the plug stops above the fixed float, allowing for extensive air release. Once the air is fully expelled, water flows into the valve, lifting the float and closing the plug to stop air release. During normal operation, small amounts of gas naturally accumulate at the top of the pipeline. When enough gas accumulates, the water level in the valve drops, and the float descends, allowing gas to escape through small holes. In case of power outages or pump stoppages, negative pressure may occur as the pipeline empties. The float descends, opening small holes and triggering larger holes to allow significant air intake, ensuring pipeline safety.

Note: The operating pressure of the air release valve must not fall below 0.03 MPa. If the pressure drops below 0.03 MPa, the valve may leak. A separate valve must be installed for maintenance purposes.
